Your Old Friend... Me?

Hello Reader(s),

So this is the first sentence in the first post on my first blog.

That's a lot of firsts.

Most of you don't know me but I'm a freelance photographer... sort of. See the thing of it is I'm actually just getting started with it. I studied commercial photography for two years but just now was able to afford some equipment to get started.
Which is kind of nice when you think about it.
I've been out of school for a year and a half(ish?) now, so it feels good to get going with this.

Now that you have a sort of introduction to me I'll let you know about this blog and what it'll be.
I'm going to be using this blog to post some of my work, you can find the rest of it on my many links (more on that in a second). I will also be using the blog to keep you up to date with things about me. Movies, Tv Shows, etc.
As a side note I also read a lot of comics and play a decent amount of video games so I'll be posting reviews and things of that nature as well. I will do my best to post as often as I can.. which hopefully will be quite often indeed. I will also try to post an image in each of my entires, just to sort of keep it interesting.

Now that we're done with our introductions here is what I've been up to all morning.
Literally.

I've got this friend see, and she's a freelancer too. Of the writing variety, but I digress. She's been on me for awhile to network myself and get my name (and pictures) out there. Turns out she may be half right about this so I started at the bottom and worked my way up. I've already got a website (hosted through carbonmade for now), but I decided to make up a facebook page and group, a twitter account, a flikr account and this blog. Needless to say it's time consuming and about as much fun to do as I'm sure it was to read about.

I also plan to simplify my web page from http://thelifeisaphoto.carbonmade.com/ to www.thelifeisaphoto.com

Well this has been a long one, I wouldn't expect this every time.. but who knows really?

Until next time,
Jeff
